My heart floods

Gates can no longer hold

Love rushing down the

Canals of my being.

Overgrown moss of doubt,

Fear-ridden boulders held

Down by cold green tendrils

Torn out of their muddy prisons,

Set free by the blue rain of grace.

Rapids of deep peace

Cascades into forgotten pools,

Filled with golden shining fish,

Carrying jewels to the surface,

Received into the pouch

Of my deepest self.
